Lumbar

Minimally Invasive Lumbar Discectomy

This spinal surgery removes all diseased and damaged intervertebral discs, relieving spinal pressure on the lumbar spine and lower back.

Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF)

This spinal surgery is performed from the back of the body to place a bone graft between the two vertebrae.

Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (ALIF)

This spinal surgery is performed from the front of the body to remove disc or bone material between two adjacent lumbar vertebrae.

Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion (PLIF)

This spinal surgery is performed from the back to place a bone graft between two vertebrae.

Posterolateral Lumbar Fusion

This spinal surgery places a bone graft between elements in the back, leaving the disc space. This surgery can be performed using minimally invasive methods.

Lumbar Laminectomy

This spinal surgery removes bone to relieve pressure on spinal nerves in the lumbar spine. This can be formed as well to alleviate back pain and radiating leg pain.

Cervical

Anterior Cervical Corpectomy And Fusion

This surgery removes vertebral bone and intervertebral disc material to help alleviate pressure on the spinal cord and spinal nerves in the cervical spine or neck.

Cervical Artificial Disc Surgery

This joint replacement surgery works by inserting an artificial disc replacement between the vertebrae to replace the natural spinal disc.

Anterior Cervical Discectomy

This surgery treats the nerve root and spinal cord compression through decompression of the spinal cord and nerve roots. The corresponding vertebrae are stabilized with a discectomy.

Other Surgical Treatment Options

Balloon Kyphoplasty

This is a minimally invasive procedure to stabilize spinal fractures that are causing back pain. Balloon kyphoplasty will correct angular vertebral deformity and restore vertebral body height.

Spinal Decompression

This minimally invasive spinal surgery relieves pressure and pain from bone and disc impingement on the spinal cord and nerves.

MAST™ Direct Lateral Interbody Fusion (DLIF)

This minimally invasive surgery is performed through a muscle on the side.

Hear What Satisfied Patients Have To Say

"Dr. Soo and his staff did an excellent job on my back surgery. Very pleased with them."

-James

"I have had two spinal fusions by previous surgeons. Dr. Soo recently did my C 4 to C 6 neck fusion. I absolutely would refer anyone to him. He is also handling my follow-up care and pain management. No need to have to go to yet another Dr."
