Hip Pain

Hip pain is a common issue that can be indicative of numerous underlying causes. Ongoing pain in your hip can create numerous mobility problems that may eventually cause even more issues. In most cases, the exact location of where the pain is originating from can help determine the likely cause.

Problems located within the hip joint typically cause pain inside the hip and groin. Pain on the outside of the hip, upper thighs, or buttocks can be the result of issues with soft tissues surrounding the hip joint, such as tendons, ligaments, and muscles. Injuries, osteoarthritis, pinched nerves, and cancer may also be the cause of pain near the hip area.
